Spring on the Farm!
Date: May 10 and 11, 2018
Cost: $2 per person. A minimum of one adult chaperone is required for every 5 children.
Length: 9 am – 1 pm
Location: Henry Breeding Farm
Advanced reservations are required.
This unique hands on experience, presented by BCHS mentors and Hauser Junior High School 7th and 8th graders, highlights farm life from the 1880’s to 1920’s and is open to all area schools. Students will experience hands-on learning in areas such as rope making, using hand tools, butter churning, basket making, gardening and more! Musical presentations will be offered at various times throughout the day. Children will love the opportunity to learn from their peers in this rich environment.
