Welcome back! The museum will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning July 14, from 10 am – 4 pm.

Masks will be required for all guests. Guests are encouraged to bring their own mask. A limit of 10 people will be allowed in the museum at a time. Please call prior to your visit to confirm that the museum is not at capacity. We look forward to seeing you and sharing our new Early Industrialists Exhibit!

The Bartholomew County Historical Society and Cline-Keller research and genealogy library are open:

Tuesday – Thursday from 10 am –  4  pm.

Appointments may also be made upon request.

Admission

The Historical Society suggests the following admission donations:

  • Adults – $5.00
  • Seniors – $3.00
  • Children (ages 5 to 17) – $2.00
  • Children under 5 yrs – Free!
  • Members – Free!

FUN FOOTNOTES IN COUNTY HISTORY : FLATROCK RIVER

History is a lens through which we can appreciate where we’ve come from, and where we are going. Check out the boaters on the Flatrock River, that’s the same river that looks not all that differently today, and the courthouse was standing proudly then, same as it does now!
