Hours of Operation
NOTE: We are closed to prepare for new exhibits until Tuesday, July 21st, 2026.
The museum is open Tuesday through Friday, 10:00am-4:00pm.
The Cline-Keller research and genealogy library is open by appointment; please call 812/372-3541.
The Henry Breeding Farm is publicly accessible only during special events and programs.
Admission
Admission is FREE to all guests, thanks to a generous grant from the W.R. and Floy A. Sauey Family Foundation.
If you would like to make a donation, here are standard admission prices for similar sized museums:
- Adults – $5
- Seniors – $3
- Children (ages 5 to 17) – $2
- Children under 5 yrs – free!
- Members – free!
FUN FOOTNOTES IN COUNTY HISTORY : FLATROCK RIVER
History is a lens through which we can appreciate where we’ve come from, and where we are going. Check out the boaters on the Flatrock River, that’s the same river that looks not all that differently today, and the courthouse was standing proudly then, same as it does now!
