Volunteering

If you would like to support the Society’s mission, you can choose to donate your time to one of the many museum projects. Volunteering gives you an opportunity to impact your community in a positive way.

The Bartholomew County Historical Society needs volunteers to get the job done! There are hundreds of opportunities to learn new skills and make use of the skills you have. Different types of projects are available depending on the time of year. We currently have need for volunteers to help with:

• Greet museum visitors

• Help with school tours.

• Create and maintain museum exhibits.

• Maintain the museum center herb gardens

• Create and maintain the heritage gardens at the Breeding Farm

• Mentor youth at Spring on the Farm

• Assist with programs and classes
